EHL Creations - First Round

Web site under development ... Emily's EHL Creations. A friend and fellow mobster, Em specializes in Polaroid emulsion lifts and transfers. It's a unique process where an image printed on film sheet (with a special Polaroid printer) is "lifted" onto other materials such as watercolor paper, ceramic tiles and even metal. She's pretty active and always has a camera handy wherever she travels. Her images evoke a sense of nostalgia and possess an antique quality that is intensified by the imperfections of the process. You can check out her current gallery in the links widget to the side.

I'm helping her with a new site... working in some new creative ideas I've been putting on the back burner for some time. Integrating some ideas from blogs and Wordpress, I'm hoping icolithic can use this experience to integrate into future sites.

Above are samples of work in progress. The background image (top rear) will be present on all the pages in the site, with tables, transparent PNG edges and interactive elements placed right on top of it. On the top right is a little splash image of Em's logo. The bottom image is what the home page will look like. The blank stamps are missing graphics for Facebook, Twitter and contact links (working on it).

More to come.
